Sucam Mining Corporation has engaged Axiom to prepare a proposal to design, operate and manage the Sucam Gold Exploration Project located approximately 66 km northwest of the city Dongola, Sudan. The SMC Gold Project covers 5 km2 consisting of one concession, (SMC 1) measuring 2.5 km x 2.0 km. SUCAM has secured ownership of SMC1 and is currently in negotiations to secure equally sized concessions to the immediate north (SMC N1) and south (SMC S1) of SMC 1.
In July of 2018 SMC was formed with interest in the SUCAM Gold Project. With historic exploration on the property being variable and limited, SMC has engaged Axiom to conduct a multi-phase exploration program commencing in September 2018. The Axiom exploration program will consist of historic data compilation followed by UAV MAG survey, high resolution UAV Orthophotography, lithology/structure mapping and sampling program with both lab and handheld XRF analysis. During the Phase 1 exploration program Axiom will conduct a bulk sampling and processing program designed and operated by Axiom, this will provide SUCAM with valuable metallurgical/processing data along with near surface grade controls.
Following Phase I Axiom will provide SMC a detailed Phase 1 close out report that will highlight prioritized drill targets for the Phase II drill program. At that time Axiom will provide a finalized Phase II proposal to SMC that will include a budget for drill program design, operation and management. Following Phase II completion SMC has requested Axiom provide an NI 43-101 compliant technical report on the SUCAM Gold Project.
